Welcome to the Asia Project travelogue. This is the story of Anne Ledbetter and Steve Houghton's travels around Southeast Asia. We spent 14 months traveling in Nepal, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and Taiwan, and employed almost every means of travel. We trekked from village to village, cycled, took busses, trains, boats and planes. Sometimes we even traveled by animal, using both elephants and camels. Anne took the bulk of the photographs while Steve wrote long letters home. We both recorded sounds along the way. We invite you to explore the site; some of the sections have excerpts from the letters and others have sound clips too.
